Italian Charity Event Wrap Up
I wanted to send out a thanks to everyone for supporting this event. It was our first planned event that was designed from its conception to be a takeout only event. It was met with resounding success and I only have you to thank for that. So I wanted to run down a few numbers about the event.
Here is what we made for the event with the amounts
231 pints of Marinara
113 pints of Bolognese
90 pints of Alfredo
231 quarts of cooked pasta
177 orders of stuffed mushrooms
168 orders of lasagna
103 orders of meatballs
700 pieces of garlic bread
640 cookies
Now for the good news:
We earned 2800.00 dollars for charity!
How did we do compared to last year’s in person event?
While last year’s event earned money from multiple sources, when those are removed, we actually made three hundred plus more dollars for charity.
During delivery on Saturday, I talked with lots of our supporters and it seems that having a takeout portion of our event seems to be a popular idea. We are talking about several things right now such as providing takeout dinners periodically. These dinners may consist of a full meal or maybe a choice of a soup(s). Currently, we are working out logistics with the church and our team.
